An experienced and respected community advocate

Marilyn is no stranger to working with Calgary City Council. She was part of the citizen advisory committee that produced the White Goose Flying report, the local response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission calls to action.

As a member of the Calgary Police Commission, Marilyn has developed a wealth of experience in outreach and community advocacy. Besides that, she is also a veteran, has close ties with the Calgary arts community, and believes in dialogue rooted in truly understanding various points of view when making decisions.

With her sights set seven generations into the future, we are confident that Marilyn will deliver on her platform of recovery, resilience and reconciliation for Calgary.
